Dadi and Baba are here..

You have to excuse the hiatus ... I've been very busy you see, ever since I have had dadi and baba over to stay with us for a while.. Yes..!! Dadi and Baba are here. They wanted to see me for a long time and couldnt wait more.. I love every bit of attention I am getting from them. Sometimes, dadi picks me and rocks then baba walks around whenever I 'grunt' :-) , Well sometime I have to show my boredom from laying down by myself . Baba calls my grunts little lion cub growls, because I sound like that :-):-) He also says I look like a doll... a real doll when mamma bathes and gets me out of the tub with a band on my head.
The weather has been changeable, with rainstorms, light snow showers, heavy fog and eventual sunshine in the afternoons. We haven't been out much, but these days and whenever we do go out I dont like laying on my back in the pram. I want to be a bit upright so that I can see the world around me much better, am soo curious about the passer- bys, the dogs taking their daily strolls and the kids walking like little astronauts dressed in their heavy over-alls.Papa recently invented a new flying game for me, holding me on his shins while I gaze down at the world. Will post some pictures next time.
Everyone has been worried over the little blister I have developed on my lip but the docter has convinced the family that it will go away.
We had Adi and little Anoushka visit us all the way from the US. They were so curious to see me . Simmi aunty got me soo many lovely outfits from the US. Anoushka who is exactly 1 yr older to me loved to hug me while Adi her older brother was busy playing with dada.
Mamma and papa enjoyed their evening.
I've started to let the world know when I want to be picked up me for me, another recent development is my constant drooling, and putting everything in my mouth. I love exploring the world via this new process; although it can get a bit tricky as it gets colder outside. I'm afraid that my tongue will get stuck to the zipper of my overalls.

New Year 2009 is here.!!!

WISH U GUYS a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR..!!! Another year bites the dust as we enter into a new year.. We were all together during this occassion, althougth the reason was a bit different. We were all down with a viral flu. Nevetheless I cherished the time together.Mamma made some rich dark chocolate cake that dada cut imagining it was his birthday...ha..ha!!! Then dada lit some fire crackers with papa to his supervision.. Since I was a bit tired and cranky..I called it a day early..and woke up to papa's cheerful voice amidts all the sound of the lovely colourful firecrackers outside wishing me a very happy new year.. I got a hug from mamma, papa and dada before going back to sleep.. So all in all the 2 week vacation ( inspite of the fact we all were sick) was all about sleeping and staying indoors cosy with the family..For the first time this week I turned to front when on my back.. and mamma was thrilled at my act..

I am 3 months old...

Yippie..!!! I am 3 months old now.. I had my first vaccination shot on both my thighs.. on 19th dec. Papa had come to the docter's straight from work and he looked a bit overdressed for the occasion in his Armani coat, but he had to come there to accompany mamma and hold her hand.as she hates seeings needles poked into dada or me..Uff.!! it hurt..I was very sad for a long while....The next few days were pretty good.. We had Christmas dinner hosted at our place and mamma had made delicious Tageiteilli with homemade pesto sauce, vegetarian Canneloni and Veg Augratin..with home made garlic bread. Papa had made some delicious Guacomole which pappa mamma had with nachos while chit chatting.with their friends . I went to little Anshi's birthday the next day..and had loads of fun.. Mamma clicked pictures of me dressed in a cute little brown frock which was actually stitched by NANI dear.. I looked so cute mamma and I got soo sleepy after all the posing for the perfect picture..Then on 24th on the Christmas eve, dada baked some ginger bread men..with mamma.. and in the evening..I was taken by surprise when I saw this huge figure dressed in red ,enter the door. He had flowing white beared and a pot belly tummy and a huge sack perched on his back. Dada was estatic seeing this figure as he had been waiting to see him for a log time... then mamma told me he was SANTA....!!!! Dada had written a letter to Santa asking for his favourite toys as presents since he had being a good boy ..and Santa did gift him with those toys.. Santa gifted me too witha wonderful toy.. It was a fun day..!!!Papa had a lot of work which he had to catch up with nevertheless we didnt let him do so..
